I have enough grays that it bugs me that i decided to color my hair- my hair is dark brown- when i got "adventurous" i would highlight it and it looked ok but it did turn orangeish eventually. Anyway- I did hear that dark brown hair may not be the best with highlights plus now with a few more grays- i'd rather just slightly change my hair color with some supposed tricolor to cover up grays than the heighlight
anyway- i find a few critical strands in areas where i part my hair- in the past i picked at them- but then given my curly hair etc.- it just made a bunch of grown out shorter hair until i got it colored again. SOOO- long winded way to ask if there is a store product to help touch up those gray strands so i don't pluck them.. thanks for all advice/experiences of what does and doesn't work! |
| There are two things - Bumble and Bumble does a spray on root powder that is great. Spray, wait and then brush it out. There are also "hair mascaras" that you dab at the part. |
Suck it up and start getting a professional coloring. You eventually will, anyway, no matter how you fight it, so you might as well start now so that you find a good colorist, and if it's something that's bugging you, then fix it. Time marches on, and eventually you'll realize it's marching all across your hair (and face ). It's not like it's a facelift, FCOL. A super easy fix for not much money.
PS- Don't pluck...you know you'll just eventually end up with "thinning hair", right?
well a touch of grey kinda suits you anyway thats all I had to say but it's all right |
