Still waiting here in Rockville. I’ve callex twice over the last 4 weeks and each time they tell me it’s going out but it never arrives.
Apparently they didn’t get enough APPS so they combined with the Eastern Shore? It’s a very well run organization so it will work out eventually I’m sure. I was just worried that our letter was lost and we were throwing away money. |

| I haven't heard anything either. The deadline to submit the application, if you get selected, is Sept 30! |

I don't understand what the issue could possibly be. I spoke to someone who said the deadline was extended to 3 Aug and the drawing was held on 6 Aug.
It's been a month now. How long could it take to generate letters and put them in the mail? |

Oh please! Hahahaha! Our kids are on a "waiting list" in Maryland that is eighteen years long. And you think they can get around to sending out letters in four weeks?

I'm feeling better about our chances now. I knew they'd extended the deadline so I figured there was a good chance of us getting accepted, but since I hadn't heard, I figured our applications had either been lost in the mail or we were the only ones who hadn't received anything.
Maybe they had so few applications that we'll all get $4,000! One can hope... |

| We haven't been randomly chosen since the system changed. So frustrating. We've been on the Medicaid Waiver list for 5 years with enormous expenses. I wish they limited the program to those ineligible for the waiver. We maxed out on therapy sessions in April. Thank goodness we have private insurance but I just need to gripe. We spend so much on health care out of pocket. Terrified about what I've been reading about what will happen under Kavanaugh when he is nominated. |
