| I guess the snowflakes in PG County Schools are having an early release day tomorrow due to the heat. Unreal. |
|
Good for them.
At least a couple MCPS schools without AC as well today. Hopefully, they will follow PG’s lead. |
| Schools that do not have ac should be closed. |
| Why in 2018 do these schools not have AC? |
You’re an a-h*le. This has more to do with non ac busses and poor building ac. Ultimately it’s b/c of climate change deniers. Global warming is catching up to us. |

No busses have ac but it’s not about the busses. You actually have classrooms that are approaching 90 degrees with all those bodies and movement. I can’t believe we can’t even get all hvac systems working |
| Wtf! It has only been one day and schools are closing?!?! This is ridiculous. Shame on the stupid new lady at pg |
| Is there a link or credible news site? |

| Wait buses don't have AC?!? I graduated in 2004 in a different city and all the buses had AC then. |
Our MCPS bus does not. But there are tons of windows. |
Buses get hot, even with tons of windows. But I agree with the PP that the issue is almost certainly classrooms, not buses. |
| Good for them. |
The schools I went to, which didn't have ac, did this a few times when it was hot in the late summer. In the Midwest, in the 1980s. |
