I'm not the PP but I actually think it IS a helpful post since most fashion trends start (and end) in California or NY (but mostly California for the teen/tween set as it extends from what they see on TV/movies) and then jump to East Coast then bleed into the middle. Oklahoma kids will be wearing UGGS a season longer than DC kids. But DC kids will prob still be wearing Uggs this year.

Hard to tell since it’s so hot right now whether they willl this year. But many are still wearing converse.

So happy my 12yo feet didn’t grow too much this year (yet).i bought her first real retail-priced woman-sized Uggs for her last Xmasand she just tried them on and they still fit with room. So she’ll be wearing them this winter whether they are still “in” or not.

What makes shoes not in anyway? At least one other kid is wearing them, my kid will be too. And then that’s 2 kids. How many does it take to create a trend? (Honestly I think my kid would wear them even if no one else is.)

The feet grow first, so at 12 her feet might be done growing.

Believe it or not, teen boys are wearing Uggs, as well. The really short boots and the ones that look more like chukkas.
