Second laundry room for housekeeper?

One large laundry room with two washers and two dryers and a sink. If you want a little one upstairs fine.

When the revolution comes, you’ll be one of the first up against the wall.

Our housekeeper has staff who do the actual cleaning. I’ll ask her to ask our laundry maids what they suggest.

Those 4 kids will see their parents value their three laundry rooms and big house over them and go off to college (on loans) and never return.

Having said that, I would do a laundry room on the main level only if I had the choice. I’ve had an upstairs washer and it kept me awake so I never ran it at bedtime. Unlike right now where there is a load in the washer right now as I’m about to go to bed.

If you’re building the house I think they do something to sound proof it. My parents have a laundry room next to the bedroom and you can barely hear it.

Agree. Ours is across the hall and noise is not an issue.

I would prefer one medium sized laundry room on the bedrooms level. If you have space to also have a stacked unit in the mudroom, great. But I have no interest in basement laundry.
