| To Kill a Mockingbird |
| My Traitor's Heart by Rian Milan |
|
Here are some greats just off the top of my head that I love:
Jane Eyre / Charlotte Bronte Mrs Bridge and Mr Bridge (they are pendant novels) / Owen Connell Ordinary People / Judith Viorst In Cold Blood / Truman Capote Persuasion / Jane Austen |
Great list! I'd add An American Tragedy by Dreiser. |
| Anna Karenina by Tolstoy. |
I love Angle of Repose. Have you ever read any Wendell Berry? He’s a wonderful writer with a similar spare prose. Some of my favorites are My Antonia by Willa Cather, Atonement by Ian McEwan, 1000 Acres by Jane Smiley and Fidelity by Wendell Berry. |
I liked that book a lot, even read all the fake footnotes
|
+1 oh, yes to An American Tragedy |
I love The hobbit. It was so much fun reading it to my kids. |

To kill a Mockingbird is a great book. |
I liked all the books by John Irving. |
