I have been trying to offer other suggestions but he’s pretty set on the A thing. 😬. My lists include Etta, Sierra, Tessa, and nicknames Winnie and Gwen, but not long names that create them (ending with an a)

Thanks for ll of the suggestions! Keep them coming!

Ugh. That sucks. I can't believe two women have allowed this now.

The best I can do for you is Hannah. It still ends in the -a sound without the dreadful matchy name ending.

Etta sounds too much like etcetera .

*Ectetera* !!!!!! (akin to people naming 'their' girls non-monikers like 'nameless')

Tara
Tera

Are you telling yourself that you 'have to' agree to any name that you don't like or want for your daughter, to keep the peace w him? He needs your respect but your daughter does not 'need' you to compromise her identity for his 'comfort' and/or his 'agenda'

When you already have 2 with an A at the end don't NOT do the same for the third. I hate when each kid doesn't have an "equal" type name.
