Think you meant 06s playing on 05 team. There is one but she has always played 05. If she played 06, she’d be their best player. The 05s have 24 girls on their roster and don’t need anyone else playing up.

Are there really 24 girls on the 05 McLean ECNL roster? Or are some on 05 Green listed as guest players? That would mean 6 girls sitting each week. Is it always the same 6 or do they rotate?

It seems as though the 06 roster has strengthened this year-supposedly Nadir has helped by recruiting girls from MD and Herndon. They recently scrimmaged with MD United and performed well. It seems like they are starting to pick and choose among the 06 roster as to who gets to play as they didn’t bring the entire roster of 18 to the scrimmage. Think they will pick up some new blood at tryouts this year and be even stronger at U16. Watch out VDA!

One game huh? As it was stated before, VDA typically does better at the young age groups against McLean. It is not a one game that McLean is better at the older age groups. It is a pattern when the older groups win by multiple goals every game. Not just this year but past years too.

Yes two 06 players are significant contributors on the 05 team. They played against the all powerful VDA 06 team with the McLean 06 team in March and VDA could not beat the “horrible” McLean team. So whatever VDA 06 parent said makes no sense about kids playing up. Congrats on your “ass whooping” or should we just say congrats on your first multiple goal victory. You should have a conversation with the other VDA parent who thinks McLean’s four goal victory in the 04s means nothing but your three goal victory at 06 is important.

Mcleans U16s (now u17s) were bottom of the table last year..which is an older age group...kind of contradicts what your saying. But again, you feel the need to carry Mcleans water for whatever reason.

Mcleans U16s (now u17s) were bottom of the table last year..which is an older age group...kind of contradicts what your saying. But again, you feel the need to carry Mcleans water for whatever reason.

Mclean U17s are currently the highest placed local ECNL club in the standings. They beat VDA 5-1. Only Richmond United and some of Carolina teams are higher in the table.
