There is pretty much no place that is "in my tent" that is not also "on my bed" -- tents are small. And I am grit-averse.

Who wants to be scrubbing out their tent or packing away a tent with dirt inside? I think you also forget when you live in a house how much dew is on the grass in the morning. Your shoes will be muddy in the morning until the dew dries.
