Meh, I've always gotten the vibe BAG was trying to control her. He hooked her in at a very young age and doesn't have a great reputation for being kind to women. She's probably relieved to be free from him and having a little fun.

There have been a lot of rumors for years that BAG is both controlling of her (which makes sense since he got into a relationship with a 18 year old) AND expected her to carry the financial weight of the household.

+1. I remember reading about this also, and seeing blind items. He "got" her while she was very young, has been very controlling of her both in her career and personal life, and she's basically in "I'm finally freeeeeee" mode.

I don’t find him attractive, either. I’ve just recently started hearing of him since he started dating her. I think most of what we see of him is just a persona he’s made up. Just a few years ago he looked a lot different. He does seem like an involved father despite becoming a father so young.
