Or. 3. The people running food distribution are more capable. Or, all three options. |
I am pretty sure that's OP and she had Jeff delete my post where I said I was marking her FB posts as spam, because that's what they are. I encourage everyone else to do that too. |
| This thread is very disorienting with the threads being deleted real time without a reason being posted. |
+1,000 Those of us who did *not* vote for the current board members knew something like this would occur. I hope those who *did* vote for them are kicking themselves now. |
+1 What about the parents who idiotically voted for these clowns, and called anyone who didn't "racists"? Unbelievable. |
What petition? What are you referring to? |
How is academic performance going to improve when principals approve empty brain videos during instruction time? How is academic performance going to improve when many teachers don’t welcome higher thinking questions during instruction time? Academic performance doesn’t improve overwhelming students with worksheets copied from other teachers elsewhere or wasting time with 1hr assemblies (during which students are put to watch a guy playing with knifes, balls or other non sense demonstration). |
Still beyond glad Schultz and Wilson are gone. Our school was very overcrowded and Wilson objected to any efforts to do something about it, claiming it would be unfair to Oakton, his daughter’s school - which was literally in the middle of a $130M renovation/expansion. If the Republicans want to attack the current School Board, they are stuck with the fact that some of have memories longer than last week. |
It doesn’t come from Brabrand. |
Firing people in the middle of this isn't happening and would just further delay distance learning. Advocate for firings immediately after June 12th so we can have competent people planning over the summer for the fall. |
+1 And the morons like Ryan McElveen - who pushed the whole social justice agenda - can't be held accountable because he's not on the board anymore. Clearly efforts from him and his minions kept FCPS on priorities that didn't include actually educating our children and creating an effective online infrastructure. Democrats control this county from the School Board to Gatehouse Admin to the Board of Supervisors. They are doing a fabulous job of lowering the bar for everyone. Bravo. |

I’m seeing a flood of messages from principals and teachers over last 24 hours in support of the school based tech specialists. That’s an indication they don’t accept what Brabrand, Smith and Luftglass were peddling yesterday. All three of them need to go. Brabrand has zero credibility now. He was not very good to begin with, but he’s totally blown it now.

Bye Felicia. |
Having dealt w/ FCPS IT before, this seems likely. The folks (who are above building-level) I've dealt with are so incredibly arrogant- think of the worst "IT Guy" stereotype and you'll be on the right track. It also doesn't help that so many of them don't really understand schools. Yes, they may have worked in a school system for a long time, but they treat it like it's a bunch of branch offices full of adult employees. |
