Economy is roaring

I think these folks have gotten more raises since Trump has been in office than in the 8 years Obama was president.
And, he is working on the homeless situation. It's a tough one to crack when liberal mayors and leaders refuse to face the homeless problems in their jurisdictions. And, when their policies increase homelessness instead of decreasing it.

Citation? Won't be able find anything because you are 100% FOS.

Lies. Lies. Lies. That's all you have.

Doesn’t matter. The economy, or better yet the public’s perception of the economy, is what wins elections. The President knows that. Why do you think he’s focused now on the China trade deal?

And this is the explanation for the whole impeachment nonsense. The Democrats are going to impeach Trump knowing full well that the Senate will not remove him from office .......... and the presidential election is less than a year away. All that this impeachment drive is seeking to achieve is to damage Trump.

With a roaring economy, it will not work: most Americans are more concerned about their economic welfare and not some esoteric nonsense about abuse of power, etc.

What they will understand, if Biden is the nominee, is when Trump incessantly drums the message that Biden's son who had zero background in energy and pretty much a failure in everything that he has done, and yet he gets $1 million annually. Was it illegal? No it was not. But it stinks to high heaven and that is what the average voter in those swing states will understand.

+100
I would argue that we don't know enough about the whole Ukraine situation to know if anything illegal was or wasn't done.......

"we" know, but perhaps you and Mr. Turley don't. Just the "transcript" of the call was enough to be impeachable. Everything that has come out since, including testimony from Trump appointed ambassadors and officials are more color to the impeachable crimes. No one, not one witness, including those called by the GOP, have defended or contradicted the known facts of the case or the severity they represent.

It is roaring but only benefiting the elite and I am one of them. Until real hourly wages grow at 4-5%+ we won’t be winning.

To those who complain about Trump's buffoonery, thank your lucky stars that he behaves like that because otherwise he would assuredly win by a landslide.

He has a great economy under his stewardship and has not started any wars plus he is trying to deal with unfair trade practices especially as it relates to China.

Narrator: Nothing will happen with China, they helped him get elected. This is all a show and a way for his friends to make a killing on market volatility.

“He has not started any wars....” However, he is sending US military to be mercenaries for Saudi’ Arabia. But thank goodness, no “wars.”

What percent of people with at least a high school diploma have three jobs?

However, by almost every single peice of objective macro econ data available, the economy is rip roaring right now, most people have jobs, and wealth for your overall typical household has increased. Dems can be negative all they want, it doesn't change the fact that Americans are getting richer as we speak and are making out like bandits. Every single sweeping wide socialist bent economic policy the Dems are currently running on would destroy the red hot economy overnight. Dems can't stand the fact that the economy is doing well.

In true ironic fashion the economy has improved the most for those at the bottom of the bell curve, the folks that Ds claim they care about

Despite all the naysayers about Trump and the economy on this board, the liberals who I know actually do give Trump at least some of the credit for the booming economy ........ although they would never in a million years vote for him.

It’s benefiting me as I approach age 65. My IRA and 401k are up over 35%. It’s benefitting my elderly mother, living in a senior facility, whose investments are up about 25%. It’s benefitting a friend I’m mine whose portfolio has gone up so much that she is putting the excess in an immediate annuity and retiring two years ahead of time. Lots of regular folks have benefitted.

Because that isn't my experience, nor is it anything I have read about at any region of the country.
