+1 Much like how he was forced to condemn white nationalists after Charlotesville.. remember .. "both sides.." |
| Liberal here, I watched the video. Agree it's awful but, Trump didn't make it. He hasn't endorsed it. He *should* disavow it completely but, it's not his fault that it exists. |

						Liberals...
 >Original version is shooting up Christians in Church - that's art! >New version - same footage with faces changed - OuTRaGE! Liberals double standards would be funny if they weren't so sad. |

BS. Oh just BS. It is almost the exact same as that WWE video he tweeted out, except more grotesque - but not categorically different. And IT WAS SHOWN AT A POLITICAL EVENT HE WAS HOLDING AT ONE OF HIS PROPERTIES. His staff clearly felt he would like it enough to show it there. He might as well have made it. |

Exactly. And he fosters an environment of animosity and violence against the media and others. |

It's so weird because I seem to remember Trump supporters absolutely losing their sht over a picture that wasn't nearly as violent - and didn't show the actual president killing actual people who he actually talks about being enemies of the state because they don't just do his bidding This seems like it happened a long time ago. Remember how it killed Kathy Griffin's career and caused her to get death threats, and more?

I honestly didn't even know about this scene. I haven't seen the movie. I watched the original scene from the film on YouTube yesterday. It is really grotesque. I then read the plotline on Wikipedia, and it seems like it wasn't so much about massacring crazy westboro baptist types for fun as it was a madman was controlling ALL of them to become violent? Again, I haven't watched the movie. I don't consider it art if the entire point was just to massacre fundies, but that doesn't sound like that was what was going on here. It was a plotpoint in a movie, and you're skewing it to meet YOUR argument. |

Christian here... You seem to not understand the difference between a Hollywood movie and real life politics in which our POTUS calls American journalists "enemy of the people", and his cult followers being influenced by their cult leader. |

Atheist here - and THANK YOU. |

Which liberal politician has the original movie shown for supporters at his property? Because that’s the only equivalent here. |

Even that wouldn't be the equivalent. The equivalent would be if a sitting lawmaker put their face on this scene and showed themselves slaughtering Republicans - after having declared those Republicans enemies of the state for several years. AND EVEN THEN it would really only be equivalent if that sitting Dem were president. Showing the movie is showing the movie. People are allowed to watch movies. |
| Don't forget after having his administration okay the murder and dismemberment of a journalist by a foreign country's government, AND THEN deploying troops to protect that government. |

Exactly. Scary to see how a Trump supporter can try to twist facts rather than acknowledge that maybe there is something wrong with Trump. |
| This video was screened at a property owned by the President by his supporters. Doesn't matter of he approved it or not. His supporters approve and all the people who say they are Christian who are Trump supporters should be ashamed of themselves. |

Was it a political event he was holding or did a pro Trump group hold an event at a trump property? My organization holds events all over the US and the property has never asked to see what videos we are going to show before we show them. |
