No. He's just lost the white nationalists. And he doesn't need them anyway.

Interesting fact: during the 8 years of Obama/Biden the US lost 293k manufacturing jobs

Another interesting fact: in the first 2 years of Trump/Pence the US gained 453k manufacturing jobs.

Then why did the Midwest voted dem in 2018 by a huge margin ? Even if it is true, It seems they are not the ones getting the manufacturing job. Manufacturing has moved to the south with AL,SC,TN, LA,KY creating manufacturing jobs. Those are all trump territory already. Unless manufacturing jobs shows up in PA,WI,MI,OH,IN in the next 1.5 years Trump is toast.

I am a moderate ( registered independent) and I’m pretty excited about Joe Biden running. Unless he moves to the far left, which I really don’t think he will, he’s got my vote .

+1 I don't believe that data at all. You need to provide a source.

I think Biden will defeat Trump easily.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-joe-biden-could-win-the-2020-democratic-nomination/

Joe Biden has officially entered the 2020 presidential race. His case to win the 2020 Democratic nomination is fairly simple: As Barack Obama’s two-term vice president, he’s the most familiar brand in the field. He’s ahead in the polls (it’s emphatically not a tie for the lead with Bernie Sanders; Biden’s polling is quite a bit better). He’s also the best-performing Democrat in polls against President Trump, and he gains a lot of support from Democrats on the basis of his perceived electability. And while he might not be the most liberal Democrat, that isn’t necessarily a disadvantage; roughly half of voters in the Democratic primary identify as moderate or conservative,1 which could be a plus in a field where many candidates are running to the left.

I've been saying for the last 12 months that it will be Biden-Harris on the ticket. So many people have pooh-pooh'd me, but I'm still standing by that. The traditional Democratic strongholds outside the big coastal cities are a lot more moderate than discussed in the media. They are not on Twitter, they are not reactionary activists. They are local labor leaders, blue collar workers, educators, and people living in rural college towns. These are the folks who flipped lots of "safe" GOP seats in 2018.

Harris compensates for Biden's deficiencies and blind spots. Similarly, Obama was smart enough to realize that Biden shored up support in places that may have been if'fy for a black Democratic POTUS cadidate.

Trump was smart enough to pull in Pence, who could consolidate the conservative Christian vote. How else can you explain a thrice divorced man who cheated on all his wives getting elected by conservative Christians? They had a known quantity in Pence.

Do two searches: one on the Obama admin and another Trump. PP’s claims are very close to true.

+100

The data shows that there are 300K more manufacturing jobs since Trump became POTUS. From the trough of the Financial Crisis to when he left office, Obama added about 1M manufacturing jobs.

Trump still has a ways to go to catch up to Obama's manufacturing numbers. 300K is a good start, but at what price?
