#1 Gwen Stefani is no longer A list, she was an A list musician like 10 years ago. Blake extended her celebrity.

#2 Blake is an A list country musician and star of that NBC show with 3 other bores. He could easily find someone younger and at the peak of her career. If teddy bear Blake wanted, I bet he could land Taylor Swift or Emma Stone. I'm not kidding.

He and Gwen are only 7 years apart which really isn't a huge deal. I think the mismatch has more to do with them being in such different industries. I would expect Blake to be romantically involved with a country girl and Gwen to be with someone more contemporary and "cool".

^^eh, Keith Urban has similar country stardom as BS and has been going strong with Nicole Kidman for nearly 15 years. Not everyone has to be Tim & Faith.

ITA, except he’s a country man who has a drive to have kids... I’m guessing. She’s done. I think that’s the only (and big) tension they have. I think he’s bent his will to hers, and it’s sort of working.

I think the step-kids are enough and perfect for Blake. You don’t stay with a woman pushing 50 if having kids is a deal breaker for you.

Say what you will about Miranda Lambert but she’s the Academy if Country Music Awards most-awarded artist ever in the history of the ACMs including female vocalist for 9 consecutive years. Of course, she lost country radio in the divorce: she hasn’t has a radio hit since 2015 (her most recent album winning album of the year, notwithstanding).
