If you know music then you know it’s not just about your music. Similar to Pharrell these guys make beats for people. Drake literally just talked about Kanye last night about Kanye producing for him. Music is not just raps, singing, etc. it’s also the actual sound which is why people like Kanye and Pharrell are called musical geniuses. I hope this helps and this is coming from someone that despises Kanye. However, I’ve spent time around people that make music so I understand the hype around him.

So have I, and I stand by what I said. He's been irrelevant for a very long time. Any of the beats you're referring to could have been made by an arsenal of producers in music right now. Nothing special about Kanye. Why do you think he's throwing tantrums and desperately clinging to artists like Drake? He can't stand that no one cares about him.

I don’t know about irrelevant. To me that’s when folks stop collaborating so idk. Everyone has their time and people like drake wouldn’t be working with him if they thought he was trash. Chance wouldn’t be working with him. He’s had quite a few crazy incidents in the last decade but that has not stopped big artists from working with him. I personally stopped listening to him in 2010 and that was before watch the throne. I stopped because he’s obnoxious and is a narcissist.

For me he is an example of both the stigma of mental illness and the lack of awareness/understanding of it.

Meaning, he clearly has problems, those problems are clearly not being dealt with by him or loved ones and now his personal problems have become public behaviour and it is 'entertainment' for the masses.
