| OP, I'm in my 30s and love fashion, and while I do love an all black outfit, I think a bright colored jacket over a black top and jeans sounds awesome. I'd wear it. |

| OP here- I did feel weird about sharing that compliment. But his comment is relevant for all of us who may feel self- conscious in these situations. And he was a very earnest young man, so he definitely didn’t have any ulterior motive for saying it. It was just kind and it was a real boost for my self- confidence. |
