I leave my address off not due to commute reasons but because I live in an area that people look down their noses at quite badly. I don't want to not get a job because someone thinks my neighborhood is trashy or whatever. |
It doesn't look sketchy to me. I've seen resumes with just the phone number, or just the city and no street address. Phone numbers would not necessarily have local area codes, and it's OK, too. In all cases I have the recruiter discuss the commute and the requirements of our office hours. |
I am an the Stafford PP - Yes, I get they are most mobile, but the jobs I am hiring for for new grads pay 40k, which is hardly enough for them to hop, skip, jump, and move to the city...it is even a stretch with a roommate. |
