Struggling to stay afloat. What can I do?
Some counties give free cell phones to people on food stamps. You really, really need to have somebody else pay your cell phone bill. If not the county, then talk to the cell provider and explain you make little money and have a special needs child and need assistance. If they can't help, ask a local church to pay it.

Also, ask Salvation Army to help you pay your monthly electric bill.

Do you have room to grow something expensive on your land to sell at farmers markets, like truffles or flowers?

Could you teach an online course for extra cash? Like where you teach using video dress?
The free cellphones are a federal program for low income people. OP should qualify.

Take in tenants, start a senior home. You have space, you need to use it or sell

I wish my house was worth 150. I paid 69k for it and could sell it for that. Which is sad because we had put 50k into it to make it livable. Hopefully. The house is going to the local ARC when my child is older.

My kids are 13 and 14 so not old enough to get real jobs. The NT child babysits.

It is hard because at one point, whwn XDH was working, he was making
Bank. Now he chooses not to do anything but mooch off people and masturbate all day long.

What about answering customer service calls from home? NOT cold calling for sales but answering calls. Be careful googling this because there are a lot of scams, but here is some info:

Any chance of a small raise where you are working? offer to bring home work for a few extra hours a week?

Why was your child's application for SSI denied? On the basis of your income or that his disability was not severe enough? Did you apply when your husband was living with you? I think you should apply again.

Will you say which state you live in? There may be property tax reduction options, but this varies by location.

How is your property tax bill $4K on a house worth $70K? Did you not pay for 5 years?

Can you take the eggs to a farmers market closer to urban areas to sell for more money? Along with other products that a pp suggested.

Can the local public school not accodate your special needs child? My child is in a special education program at school. If you had care for him through the system you may be able to work more hours or find a better job or lobby for a raise. The flexibility is great, but you are not making enough to pay even your tax bill, so something has to change.

Cash out refinance? But you said your credit isn't great.

Dog sitting? Dog walking? My friend gets $40 a dog a day to watch them. It's very easy cash.

Your electric bill is $300? Can't you cut any of that?

The delivery charges for the electric far exceed the charges for the amounts used.
Living in farm country there isn't a need for dog walking but maybe dog sitting is a good idea.

DH, soon to be Ex-DH, doesn't care about the kids, or I. He went four years without working and just growing more and more bitter as the days past. He threatened to kill me and I have an order of protection as a result. He left the state to live with a relative and I haven't heard much from him in nearly a year. Except in regards to our divorce and the kids, he isn't allowed to contact me. I have sole physical and legal custody. He gets whatever is left of his savings and gets to just walk away.

Refinancing or selling really aren't an option. Not just because I can't do that to the kids but because I do have some livestock and a garden. I sell eggs and such but they don't make a killing as the area is saturated with fresh eggs. What I paid $5 for in DC, I sell for $2 here. Taxes are high and my biggest concern.
Also, if I mortgaged the house that would mean I would have to insure it, which I can't afford to do at this point. That means painting (peeling paint) and repairing all 4 porches. I kinda bought a 200 year old farmhouse, a giant one, that needed a ton of work. It cost next to nothing, which was good, but it is still a work in progress.

Sell the house.
What you cannot do to the kids is be homeless.
You do not want to do it, but sell the house. period.point.blank. end of story.
Move somewhere it is sustainable and where you will have help. Can you move in with your parents and pay a small rent until you can build up savings ?

Because that's what taxes are where I live. They are extremely high.
