Brown bs Northwestern

Both are wonderful schools and students who attend either are a fortunate few. Not sure why they are being compared here b/c they are so different. Choose based on fit.

This is why I love this forum. It's like one giant "Drunk Uncle" sketch.

I'm 100% certain that you're a miserable human being.

Nobody considers Northwestern undergrad elite, no matter where it ranks. The college is full of obnoxious and annoying strivers and slacker rich kids from California. Tom Hanks' rapper son recently graduated from NU! Their grad programs are elite.

The only people who use terms like "elite", aren't.

I'm the PP who said Brown is a joke in STEM, and I stand by it. That's my field, and in all the relevant literature I follow I rarely see any Brown researcher as PI. It's not a Top 50, sorry.

Just not so and a simple search proves it:

https://www.brown.edu/research/conducting-research-brown/annual-brown-research-prizes

https://www.brown.edu/research/conducting-research-brown/finding-funding/internal-funding-opportunities/2017-seed-and-salomon-awardees

(I know not all the research listed is STEM but much of it is)

And of course there was that "joke" of a Physics Nobel Prize in '16:

https://news.brown.edu/articles/2016/10/nobel

PP if you were a STEM guy worth a crap you'd have posted some supporting data for your position. You didn't, because you are just trolling. Now, everyone, please stop feeding the troll.

Very funny.

I didnt and don't offer evidence because I know it's irrelevant in dealing with clueless folks who seem to trust brown, edu articles as the new Bible...

Lol... dude even you can do better than that, it is pathetic... not even my grandma would be fooled by that weak level of trolling. You are bad at it and you probably should stop before you embarrass yourself more.

Not a big fan of Trump Administration's banning words like vulnerable and fetus, but boy would DCUM be a better place if the words "elite" and "prestigious" (and variations thereof) were verboten.

Northwestern is a safety for kids targeting Brown (and Penn).

NU has a 9% acceptance rate. Do you even realize how stupid you are?

Your obsession with acceptance rate makes you a dummy. It's gamed, it's all marketing.
