Feeling sad about striking out for PK3 and Pk4, any advice on K strategy?

It would be really helpful to know if when people allude to schools not being embraceable, which school you're talking about... I'm also IB for Bunker Hill and if there are serious complaints, isn't that what this forum is for?

Maybe but it would derail the purpose of OP's thread, which is to creatr a more strategic K list. If you want to start a thread about Bunker Hill, pleas do.

Well sure, but given that we're on page 6 of this thread and people are sharing all sorts of experiences with schools, including debates over silver spring schools and YY, I think the derailment has already happened and I think it's pretty legit to expect some level of transparency here, otherwise what's the point?

OP can say if she wants to. But it doesn't really matter. The things she said about her IB are true of a lot of schools. If you have questions about Bunker Hill, start your own thread. This thread is old and unclear if the OP is still managing it.

No OP but my unembraceable school is Lasalle Backus. Anybody been there? Had any good experiences? No. I didn't think so.

Holier than thou posters talking in the abstract about how if people just embraced their in bound it would magically improve really irk me.

I really want to hear about experiences with navigating the system. How you like this or that school.

I disagree. I know more than a few people who got into SWS for K. Don't know why, but it's not nearly as impossible. Larger class sizes as the kids get older?
