Agree, expects too much from most of them.

We had the same problem but we enrolled our kid in karate. DS was told to try to walk away, tell the teacher and then karate chop the bully if all else fails. It worked like a charm and the bully hasn't hit our child after receiving a nice chop.

What if the bully is an adult? Will you karate chop him or her?

you mean students being bullied by adults like the report card letters being downgraded by a letter grade or two?
