This is the cynicism I was talking about. I'm aware of their attention seeking antics but I highly doubt Kim would lie about being robbed at gunpoint especially after the Lochte fiasco. Kim and Kanye love Paris so she wouldn't risk never being able to go back because they've made up a false story and are avoiding prosecution. I actually do believe that some professional criminals were staking out her home and came up with a plan to rob her. Thankfully her children weren't present and no one was hurt.

I'm cynical because it just seems unlikely that Kim would have been all alone rattling around that big ole mansion with millions of dollars of jewelry laying around...

But, again, the truth can be crazier than fiction. So just because this seems so ridiculous does not mean that it did not happen. And, of course, it's good that she is unharmed.

She was staying at some famous Chichi for the rich and famous so naturally she had comfort in the security. She's traveled all over the world and nothing has happened like this so maybe she left her guard down. Anyway a rich woman being robbed doesn't give me reason to pause, rich people tend to be a target.

I guess she gave her own bodyguard the day off?

He was with Kourtney and Kendall at a nightclub.

How convenient.

Well it would make more sense for him to be with the sisters who are out in public and not with the sister who is in a guarded building.

Their whole life and persona is built around being fake. It is not so weird in this particular instance to question whether there is something more to this story.

There's fake and then there's illegal. Kim is a smart girl and her father was a lawyer, I can't imagine her making up a false story and risking prosecution. She's vain but not crazy and out of control.

I don't think it was fake, but people have a right to question this type of situation given the fact that their livelihood is partially based on the ratings they obtain on their reality show. And if smart is releasing a sex tape to jump start her "career" then I will choose stupid. There are fewer I find more abhorrent than these people.

Well of course everyone has a right to judge, I can't stop anymore from having an opinion. When I called Kim smart I wasn't referencing her sex tape. I just think she's organized and has an excellent memory (she says she doesn't forget anything and I believe her) and nowhere near dumb.

But his leaving a show isn't the proof.

If anything, to me, that makes it look staged. More publicity is always their goal.

So again my opinion is it was real. They don't live in a protected bubble, and in fact are more vulnerable than regulars. However, they WILL make as much noise as possible, and make it last as looooong as possible. They know how to make lemonade.

I really don't understand why people hate the Kardashian's SO MUCH. If they represent something you don't like such as reality tv, fine. But if you ever watch their show or anything, they're really not bad people. A lot of people could take note of how close they are as a family actually.

Kim is pretty much famous because she's involved herself in lots of controversies. This just seems more of the same. Sorry - don't believe it.
