NP. They can, and like a PP, mine did. Painful, swollen breasts were my first pregnancy symptom. At 9 weeks my boobs were at least a cup size larger than normal, and I looked pregnant already. It was all bloat, not baby, of course, but I had to dress to hide my stomach. Different women's bodies react differently to pregnancy.
