Interesting that out of all these top boarding schools, STA had the highest Sat scores by a significant margin. I gues STA's small boarding contingent allows it to be in this list. |

| Top publics rarely compare favorably to boarding schools. There isn't really a huge difference between the acronym schools -HADES and GLADCHEMS - those have more prestige and the "hidden gems" but the idea that a public school can compete with the so called "2nd tier" schools is ludicrous. The class sizes and resources are just not comparable at all. |
