Lots of evidence that prepping helps a little (30-60 points). Most of the gain is probably just natural improvement from taking it a second time. I'd be interested to see if correlation to IQ decreases with more repeats; IQ tests aren't valid if taken closer together than a year. |

| I have no issues with well qualified URM's gaining admission to top universities. I admit to some ire, however, when obviously privileged hooked candidates (big money, connections) get in above my own kid when there is a big discrepancy in high school grades and test scores. Nothing I can do about it but it's frustrating for my kid to see. |
