AGREED. What is with that crap at the beginning?? I like Boney M's version of Little Drummer Boy. I love O Holy Night. As well as Metro's 11 Days From Christmas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbHknhf2VZI |

We sang this song in French when I was in elementary school, did a dance with candles and everything. Never heard anyone mention it before- thanks for the memory! |
I just love the bolded but I have to be in the right mood to hear it or I'll start crying Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but I'll add the Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack - it always gets a few plays in my office and home during the holiday season |

I agree with Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song"
But one that hasn't been mentioned and isn't that well known is one of my all-time favorites: John McCutcheon's "Christmas in the Trenches" The story is so touching. I also love John's folksy way of telling stories as intros to his song. This intro tells about the origin of the song and a special experience he had because of the song. I saw him in concert around 1990 and he told this same story. |

O Holy Night is so incredible, I want to say "ok, besides O Holy Night," …(but it must be a version that hits the high note!)
Oh, this one…The Christmas Waltz…so beautiful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQItXaJTusY |

| Baby it's cold outside by Zooey deschanel and Leon redbone! It's my fave holiday song sung by anyone but I like their version .. Also lady gaga and tony Bennett |
Really PP? Not as horrible as Jack from "Jack & the Beanstalk." A little boy who takes full advantage of a kind women's deed by stealing her husband's gold, then cutting down the beanstalk to kill him. Or in "The Three Pigs" where the big bad wolf falls down the chimney and into a cauldron of boiling HOT water, thus scalding him to death. |
