When the timer went off and Carl went to take the thing out of the oven, where was Judith? Still just sleeping or did Enid take her?

Judith was upstairs sleeping. Carol told Carl to stay in the house with the gun to protect Judith. It's not like they were going to take her out of her crib and carry her around when someone might burst into the house and attack them.

No, I realize that. But I'm saying that they made a point of showing Judith on the monitor and then you hear the timer go off and they don't show anything about Judith. She could still be sleeping, this is true. But, I feel like there may be more to it.

Could be, but I doubt it. This isn't a show that wastes time on extraneous shots to reassure us when it could use that time for more meaningful shots.

I'm not sure the Wolves found Alexandria because of the pictures in the backpack. Remember when the group first got to Alexandria, Deanna was talking about the history of Alexandria recruiting, how they used to take in groups but then there was one group that created problems and they were exiled. After that, they stuck to only recruiting individuals, because they wouldn't be able to organize an effort against the Alexandria leadership. That was why she was apprehensive about taking in Rick's group at first. I wonder if the Wolves might have risen out of that exiled group. I don't think that attack on Alexandria was just about taking it over, or they wouldn't have spent so much time mutilating bodies they'd already killed. Those were people looking for revenge.

Aaron found his backpack on one of the dead wolves. He looked at all the pictures he basically left for them to find. There were pictures of the compound's structures.

We are supposed to be worried about Judith. Hitchcock said something about two men discussing baseball isn't horror, but two men discussing baseball with a ticking bomb under the desk...

Isn't there also that saying that if you show a gun in scene one, it's going off before the show is over? I dunno, seems appropriate that since they made a point of bookending the episode with the timer and baby monitor, we ought to have noticed Judith's absence.

I just don't see how Enid would be motivated to take her, unless Judith is a gruesome "take" she'll be giving to the Wolves' leader. Remember how they congratulated a masked Carol on her "take," the chained Morgan?

Judith is a question here. And, I'm worried.

When did Aaron supposedly leave this backpack behind for them to find? Was this last season at the warehouse with Darryl?

Did he lose the backpack during the horse thing?

Aaron lost the backpack when he and Daryl got caught in the car by the food trucks. When they were running away with Morgan, Aaron dropped it. Towards the end of that episode, the wolf was looking at the pictures...including one of Rick and Carl.

To the people obsessing over Judith: did you consider that they showed her sleeping so no one would ask over and over where Judith is? I think the theory that Enid stole her is really far fetched.

I don't think she's with the wolves, but when Ron was running away from Carl (after Carl shot the wolf guy) I wondered if he was actually running away from Enid. In a previous scene, they were off by themselves and she seemed to be confiding with him about something.

Yes, they had the pictures, and those pictures probably helped the Wolves understand better the structure of the compound and how they might plan an attack. But I'm not convinced that finding those pictures is how they first learned about Alexandria.

We've already had a few storylines/tangents that centered Judith being in danger. I think the creators/writers of this show are better than to turn her into a gimmick.
