How is any effort to stop building more multi-million dollar mcmansions a NIMBY approach? Any attempts to landmark would be to preserve the historic significance of the school and the property, and perhaps in an attempt to protect the green space that is there. It is unfortunate it won't stay zoned for another school - that really is how the property should be used. If they won't sell it to another independent school, I hope the county will consider taking it for school use.
