I came to this forum to vent about Leah and her lack of carseat for her youngest DD. Episode 5, she gets her out of a white SUV that has either one or two backless boosters in the back. No seat that would be suitable for a young toddler. It's strange because sometimes the girls are in harnessed seats. Maybe this was a friend's car? I feel like if I were her I'd feel uncomfortable with a camera crew seeing me neglect my baby like that.

Jesus, Leah doesn't even know how to use her own seat belt correctly, and you're expecting her to figure out high back boosters and convertible car seats? That don't make no sense. It's HARD, y'all, and you're not THERE. So you don't know.

From what I've seen, Addalyn (Who's 2, I think) is usually in a FF convertible most of the time that seems like a decent seat, Ali (the twin with MD) is in something high backed with a seat belt, and Aleeah (whose middle name s Grace, and Leah has been calling her Gracie for some time now--but Corey doesn't, which I find interesting) is in something backless, with a seat belt, and a backpack. The car scenes are always filmed with Go Pros on the windows/windshields, so there's never anyone who can step in in real time. During Kail and Javi's jaunt to Hotel Nowhere, the crew was obviously following them in a white car, which you can see for a minute when they got the flat tire.

I'm just going to leave it all out there and not be ashamed that I'm 35 years old and way too invested in the lives of these idiots (who are probably richer than me).

Oh, and in case anyone thinks Jeremy is giving up on Leah and being a jerk by not getting her help, the real reason they're divorced now is that Leah was caught cheating with her "first love" Robbie (Corey was a one night stand rebound when Leah was 16 and she and Robbie had broken up, so he's been around for a while. She also cheated on Corey with him after they were married). I don't know why MTV is choosing to completely ignore that incident and give Jeremy a jerk edit.

I think it's because Leah had announced she was quitting right after it came to light she cheated again. I'm sure that was part of her negotiation to come on the show again.

The scenes with Leah are heartbreaking. She clearly has issues, and she acknowledges it -- saying she is depressed and has anxiety. She is begging for help. Marriage is work, and one of the perks of marriage is supposed to be that someone us there for you, in your corner, offering support and encouragement, and helping you build yourself back up in difficult times. She feels so alone. Jeremy travels so much, and when he is home, she still feels alone. It's
like she's drowning, and Jeremy is standing on the boat yelling at her. A strong partner would jump in with a lifesaver. A PP mentioned the cheating allegations, which have not been brought up on the show. If that's all true, that may be why Jeremy is so distant and lacking empathy. But, I still feel bad for her regardless. She so desperately wants to be loved.

Javi is no peach himself. Let's not put all the blame on kailyn. Yes she needs to learn to be married but so does he. Why can't he leave her alone when she goes away for a girls weekend? The only thing he should be texting her is "hope you're having fun, the kids are great, we love you and will see you Monday!"

They both need to get serious about their couples counseling.

Nathan ' s forced smile. What the hell? I wanna slap him.

Javi has major issues himself. Take the car trouble. He blamed Kait for distracting him... He's the driver. He should be focused on the road. He's a good dad, but the two of them are oil and water.

I think Nathan saw how he came across on the last season and has this weird persona going on. It's very creepy. Janelle is still a trainwreck.

Leah is a mess too. She was a far better mom/partner last year, now she's just a complete mess. I don't blame Jeremy for wanting to leave. She's a disaster.

Chelsea still remains one of the more stable parents, and I feel sad for her that Taylor is going back to Adam. Maybe he's different, but for Chelsea he's been nothing but an ass. Can't wait to see what the judge says.

Her cheating all played out via Twitter and the media. There was even security footage of the guy sneaking out of her house while Jermey was out of town. Like all reality TV, MTV just choses to portray what they want. Kind of like how they have barely scratched the surface on Jenelle and her 15 arrests...

Leah's scenes are heartbreaking to me as well, even with her cheating. I don't blame Jeremy (although I don't really like him, and in real time he's tweeted some racial slurs about Leah's new BF). Her case makes me sad because it seems like nobody in her support system gives her good advice. Her mother doesn't seem bothered at all that she got pregnant as a teenager, and also seemed fine with her moving on to Jetemy and having another child. Lead is an adult and responsible for her own choices, but she has people in her life who are older and wiser and IMO, should be giving her reality checks and didn't. Her brother is a teen parent now, too. It just seems like her family never expected anything better from her and don't encourage her to strive for anything beyond a shitty marriage with multiple kids.

During custody disputes shown recently, you can see several times when she laments that it might be a good idea to let Corey have the girls during the week, and she gets shot down immediately with her mom or friends talking about how the girls belong with their mother, Corey works and can't take care of them, etc. Leah is asking permission to hand off a little responsibility and nobody is supporting her. And because she seems not that bright, she just plugs away with her "I'm their MOTHER" bullshit.

Take over the finances; put her on a budget; hire a housekeeper; reach out to her mom/your mom for help with the kids. *Anyone* would feel stressed with 3 kids as a sahm with a traveling spouse!

Oh cry me a river... Military spouses do it all the time, for much longer durations and under more stressful conditions (combat zones.) And they don't have the luxury of local family or nearly as much money.

I'm traveling so I missed last night's episode. Taylor is going back with Adam? What???

Nathan is on something, for sure.

Here's the crazy thing: Chelsea initially struck me as the dumbest (that annoying baby voice didn't help things) and Janelle struck me as the smartest. Not in terms of choices, but innate intelligence.

Janelle can't seem to get her anger issues under control. She's just like Amber.

No, it was hyped up. She was walking with Adam, and Chelsea was worried that it meant she might go back on some of their plans to go after Adam together. Taylor explained it to Chelsea that she just "heard him out" but didn't agree to anything. In real time, Taylor has been with another boyfriend for a while now. And Adam was arrested on prior charges at their eventual custody hearing.

I was on Javi's side for that argument in the car, until he started calling Kail an asshole. For me, name calling is just so intentionally hurtful and unproductive. He was doing great explaining his feelings and standing his ground, but then resorted to telling Kail she's an asshole. Which she is, but that's for us to say, not her husband. I think blaming Kail for accident was just a gut-reaction.

Javi is horribly insecure. And I get it, cailyn is shady, but showing his ass every time she goes out of town is not helping his case at all.

I also thought Chelsea was too stupid to come in out of the rain, but she's pulled it together way more than I thought she ever could/would.

Nathan is always high and it's scary. I feel for janelle cause like she said last week, now she has another baby with another guy (and this guy is clearly off).

I feel for Leah but understand where Jeremy is coming from. And for her to be cheating, with Robbie, again? Annoyed that mtv agreed to edit that out.

I wish MTV would edit this show better after reading all of this.

What Javi needs to realize is independence is a good thing. In addition, it is encouraged in college to work with other students, and he needs to learn to accept that.

So Jeremy has no idea where the money was going? Dude, get online and pay attention to the vendors. That is a clue! Leah should have figured out his paychecks were not going into the joint account, which would have been another giveaway that something was a miss.

Jeremy knows exactly where the money is going. She's withdrawing cash and buying drugs. That set-up scene with his work buddy was ridiculous. He practically winked at the cameras when saying he didn't know. To me, it looks like MTV has made the decision not to mention Leah's drug use at all. Jeremy said she was using her prescription drugs and that she has "addiction...issues." That's as far as they've gone, when we know in real time that Leah threatened to quit the show and went to rehab for "stress" after this season was filmed.

Javi and Kail just gave completely different ideas of what family/married life should be. when Javi left for boot camp, his mother wept and prayed over him before he walked into the recruiting office. Kali's parents are totally absent from her life at this point. Those are two very different models that shape their expectations.

Anyone see that Jenelle will be posing for her 16th mugshot tonight? According to TMZ she threw a glass at Nathan's new GF.
