+1. If it's a mental disorder, it's certainly one that allows sufferers to lead happy, productive, independent lives. It's not an easy path, but if I had to pick a mental disorder I guess I'd pick that one! |
wow.. you sound so uptight. |
Agree. |
Are you me? Did I post this and not remember? |

I believe correct grammar and spelling is important. And this includes usage on social media. In 100 years we will be reduced to emoji and acronyms. Face to face communication will be reduced to grunts and pointing. God help us. |
Why? |
It's all true. The means test for Medicaid/food stamps is done ON THE KID, who has no assets. All his copays and RX's are paid by Medicaid, and his food is bought with food stamps. In addition to preschool five days a week, his mom is allowed 42 hours of nanny care paid. She does not work, has two NT kids, lives in a 6000sf house and drives a large luxury SUV. Her SN child walks, talks, eats, and is potty trained, he is just delayed pretty significantly. I don't see why she needs a tax payer paid nanny because of that. |
We spend too much on national defense, and there are way too many government contractors in this area. |
I think one spank on the bottom for a serious behavior issue is fine and more people should employ it.
I think people should be able to commit suicide if they are terminally ill or just do not want to live any longer. I think parents should plan for one parent to stay home with their children while the other works. |
PP here. That should be ARE important. See, it's even happening to me! Yikes. |
I despise military worship in this country. It's a job voluntarily taken. That's all.
|
I feel the same way about pregnancy and the cult of motherhood. It's voluntary, you don't deserve any accolades. |
x2. |
If it was involuntary would you have more respect for it? ![]() |
