Agreed. And having grown up in the snow belt in upstate NY, Boston winters don't really faze me.

Boston is so much nicer than D.C. and the NOVA/MD burbs- Beautiful towns, driving distance to great beaches and ski resorts. We are land locked here and the housing stock isn't nearly as nice. Most of the DCUM posters wouldn't like it because the suburbs are where most families prefer to be and no one bashes them for having long commutes or big houses.
