What's the most amazing concert you ever saw?

Bette Midler in 1973 when she was "the Divine Miss M". Barry Manilow was her piano player and she let him sing a few of his own songs including Mandy.

I saw one of the Born in the USA shows at the Cap Centre. The opening act was also Bruce--he played 2 hours, then an intermission, then another 2 and a quarter hours. Nothing else like it.

+1 I remember standing in a l-o-n-g line for tickets over at Fair Oaks mall to see Bruce's Born in the USA concert. Excellent, excellent show.

I did that too! But remember the rush for the door and the line order got all messed up.

Also, remember the undercover fairfax cops going car to car asking for pot? they caught and arrested the kids in the car next to us in line, about 12:30 AM. Kids waiting in line to buy Bruce tickets all night until the hechts or woodies doors open, so they decided to send undercover cops to the look for pot in the middle of the night. The was a close one that night but a good lesson, never trust anyone in fairfax county, even people that look like college kids wandering thru a ticket line in a parking lot.

Luther Vandross in 1994 and 1997. He was the best.

I saw Luther open for the Commodores in 82 or 83. He wasn't really all that yet. He peaked much later.
The Commodores in 81 were a-ma-zing.

The free Garth Brooks concert in Central Park, NYC back in the late 90s. I still remember that sunburn!

I also remember thinking that I'd never cheered so hard at a concert... Then Billy Joel walked out to join Garth. I'll never forget the noise that went up from the crowd at that moment!

Wow. I'm jealous. Nirvana is my all time favorite band.

Marilyn Manson is the most amazing concert I've ever attended.

That one was amazing!

We were right on the walkway part of the stage. Close enough that we could have touched Bono's hand if he had reached out.

And then when they came out and did the acoustic set of the old stuff on the second stage at the end of the walkway thing...started raining...Bono in a white t-shirt and cowboy hat.
