Gonzaga academics are on par with Preps academics.... Seriously?? Sure Prep is higher in tuition but their physical camp is very impressive.
Academics is neither schools strong point but if I had to choose the school based soley off academic reputation - it's Prep.

Gonzaga due to its sheer size, can lower the bar for several of their athletic recruits when needed. Not saying by any means all of their recruits don't deserve to be their academically but I do know of several football, basketball and lacrosse families at gonzaga now who had originally applied to prep a few years back and did not get in.

Sure you do.

Who knows what you are jealous of. That's your problem.

But yiu obviously are. That and wanting to continue to mouth that insider info you have which is untrue.

Prep is far from a sinking ship. It's enrollment is at an all time high. Sorry Gonzaga homer, our sports program are not as strong as yours but our students are required to read and write prior to arriving on campus. Half the players at gonzaga especially on their football team would have been rejected from Prep

ah, the delusional sense of superiority.

did Prep really lose to Saint Stephens in football this weekend or was that a mis print?

Prep boosters must be losing sleep over the state of their football program.

Nobody really cares.

You are the one with the delusion about the importance of athletics at Prep.

No matter how much evidence accrues --- like the selection of the new GP president --- you persist trying to sell this fantasy of yours.

I've arrived at the conclusion that you are truly stupid. I hope your son at GZA got his brains from his mother.

Stay classy Rockville.

PP: the Prep Hanley Athletic Center cost over $35 million to construct.

The Father George Student Academic center / new library cost around $16million to complete.

Don't try and tell people success in Prep athletics is not in the schools DNA.

The numbers above don't lie.

1. Both Gonzaga and Prep get a lot of Mater Dei kids, so neither should be bragging about any kind of academic prowess. Kids from that school as a whole are dumb as rocks.

2. Prep cares much more about athletics than academics, and Dads there are very upset about the loss to SSSAS.

3. Gonzaga is going to continue to have an edge over Prep because of the 50% lower tuition and larger student body.

The history and the motivations have been explained to you before. You just are unable to grasp the concept.

Yawn!

More of the same disinformation.

Nobody really cares what the current set of Dad's think at Prep. They are here today and gone tomorrow.

Gonzaga and GP get the same number of MD kids on average, just like they have done for the past 20 years.
