If you have be patience to do the paperwork, you can invest in MD to get the tax break and then move your money out to a lower fee plan (Utah, Ny). |

| We use the VA Invest. We started with $200/month per kid and now invest $1000/month for Kid 1 and $500/month for kid 2. They are four years apart. My parents have also invested $4000/year/kid since my first was born (two accounts and changed the beneficiary on the second account after my daughter was born). |
