Ooooooo, and a little thing called the Internet that tremendously increased commerce and productivity. Yes, we know, we know, Clinton "created" 20 million jobs, but a vast majority of it was the luck of a generation.

So there's a significant amount of luck involved regardign a president's record of job creation? Interesting. I don't recall seeing that recognition when your republican bretheren are blasting the current president for his lack of job creation.

Totally...it's just bad luck I guess that more than $800 billion couldn't stimulate our economy...

Well when you take out 1/3 as a tax break which people did not spend you have 500. Over 4 years the us GDP is about 56,000. So that's 8/10 of 1%. The economists were right, we didn't spend enough.

No, because centuries and centuries of one semantic convention should not have to be changed.

But things do change. Our language changes to reflect that (unless you're French, I suppose).

For most of us, when we "roll up" the window in our cars, it involves a button, not a handle we actually turn. When I was a kid, "looking up [a piece of information]" involved printed books. For my daughter, that phrase is more likely to involve the computer. Heck "cut and paste" used to actually mean cutting and pasting, not simply a series of keystrokes. The meaning of words and phrases changes constantly in an evolving culture.

You are correct. Could we just keep this one thing, just ONE thing? Man and woman, period, end of sentence. Just like Obama/Dumbass believed four years ago.

Time waits for no man, even ones who call our President childish names.

I'm pretty sure that was a knock at VPOTUS, who kind of does the bill.

Out of curiosity, what childish names is the president called?

See the bolded above. Even if that is a knock on Biden, the point is still the same. And if you are professing ignorance as to the many derogatory names hurled at our President, you are not informed enough to post here.

Me again. I can honestly say I've heard of maybe 2-3 of those. Not saying they're not good ones. And I'm very appreciattive of these lists, not to mention the experience of an Obama supporter whining over the president's numerious nicknames. I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror if I chided somone for using the really dumb terms Bushie or Bush Boy.

Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers, not THAT's funny.
