Please, don't open up the thread...the subject was pretty straightforward. |

This is actually really fascinating. I appreciate that others (not me by doing this, sorry) are just posting ages.
Mom: 36 (I'm her only biological - my dad already had 7 kids from wife #1 who was 23 for their first) Me: 30 |

Both 27. My mom's mom was 33 for her first and 40 when my mom (the third child) was born. My mom had me (child 4) at 35.
My dad was the youngest in his line to have children. He was 28 when he had his first. His dad was 44 when he had his first and 52 when my dad, the third, was born. My dad's grandfather was 43 when he had his first and was 48 when my grandfather was born. My kids think it's awesome that they were born in the 2000, my dad was born in 1940 and his dad was born in 1888. |

| My mom adopted me at 31; she never had bio children. I adopted my first child at 32 and birthed my second at 33. |

If this question causes pain you need a therapist. I too am adopted and didn't think twice about it. Find this thread pretty interesting. I'm sorry that you're one of the ones who has diclfficulty with their adoption, but there are a lot of great therapists out there who only deal with those issues. |
