How much do you spend at Whole Foods per month?

$400 a month for family of 3. We eat out most fri and sat so not shopping for all meals there. I too buy lots of staples at target or TJs... Peanut butter, nuts, cereal, etc

We shop at Safeway - family of 5 - everything from scratch love to cook- 12o a month budgeted and doing fine. Kids are 13, 2 and 3 weeks and we make all meals at home including lunch. It takes some planning but we enjoy it. We also do container gardening in the back for fresh herbs and greens...

You just lost your credibility here. Either you're lying to yourself or your poor daughter needs a chance to live a little. She's never got to indulge in birthday cake at a friend's party? Nobody slipped her candy at school? Riiiight.

Anyway, I spend about $200 a month at WF for DC (2) and I. Another $150-200 at Safeway/Wegmans. We're vegetarian, which saves us a ton. We consume aLOT of produce, which is why I favor WF. As others have mentioned, the produce rarely goes bad, its fresh, and the customer service is excellent. I have never been a TJ's fan. The food and layout of the store is unappealing. I purchase toiletries, bread, junk food (Cheez-Its, yum), from Wegmans/Safeway, and dairy and produce from WF. I love Wegmans and would do more shopping there if it were closer. They have awesome prices usually on greek yogurts, rice and coconut milk, brown basmati rice, etc. Its the closest I'll ever get to one stop shopping. WFs is still second to none.

For those of you spending $1000 a month at WFs, thank you for supporting the cause (healthy eating)! You are keeping alot of people employed. As long as you can afford, its a win-win for all.
