Granted, a television show really should not sway your decision at all if you love it. It just seems that people react to a perceived pretentiousness here...it could be hard to pull off if you are not British.
Rose and Lily are lovely names in our immediate family that we've considered for our daughter, but beware they are getting extremely popular right now. We are passing because of it.

OP, I think it is lovely and unexpected, like a girl we met recently named Poplar. Who cares if a bunch if grumps on DCUM have a bad association with the name because of a TV show? You don't, and her peers won't. (And for the record, I'm between 15 and 85, watch PBS often, and have never heard of this show.)
