This can't be serious? The schools are otherwise fine in CCDC just way way overcrowded. Last thing we need is to take tax money away from local schools to support charters. |

They're out of rooms as of this year. This year they combined 2 second grades into 1 mega sized third grade (45 students) to deal with the lack of a room (there are also 2 normal-sized 3 grades). Next year they'll go to trailers as there is will be an additional first grade that needs a room. The following year there will be an additional first grade and second grade that need rooms. And on and on. Plus they'll keep the mega-sized third grade. There's talk of building again but DCPS won't allocate the funds so soon. |

How do they deal with 1 mega class and 2 normal?! If I was a parent of a child in a mega-class, I would be livid. Crazy! |
