She fought the. Arena and won. She pushed for the gerrymander response and won. How are these bad?

The arena would have been a source of revenue to include an entertainment district and sports gambling. Instead, we get just a casino proposed in Tysons. As for gerrymandering, the courts haven't decided yet. Too early to call that a win.

The arena location would have been a traffic and logistical disaster, no thanks! Glad to have leaders to think this through.

It was on metro and funding was allocated to improve the Potomac Yard stop. What's Alexandria currently doing with PY? Looking for some mixed-use housing developments and some more grocery stores?

It was not in the middle of the region and would have made game attendance for fans from Maryland on a weeknight virtually impossible.

It's 10 extra minutes on Metro at most.

I used to commute through downtown to Alexandria and no, no it's not. Especially when you factor in transfer times.

But why are you derailing this thread to defend a dead stupid project? I just don't get the motivation here.

Are you one of those clueless, childless, single, multi modal kool aid-drinking-die-hards that can't understand the lives of us that are a two working parent household with jobs in different locales, two or three kids at different schools with different end times and different sports schedules?

Like, it's not feasible for me to 'metro' to my work in Lorton, 'metro' my kid to baseball practice at south country... and back... and then 'metro' in to a game in Alexandria. Do you understand this?

Not to mention all the MD fans losing out.

"Likable"?? She is a completely obnoxious bully.

This. She does my party no good.

Honestly, I just find it humorous that Republican Virginians act horrified at her trolling their party in the same way Trump does. Not saying it is a good thing for politics as I am tired of Trump. But I will still call out the hypocrisy nonetheless.

Fuk, youre so tribal you can't even understand when theres poison in your own drink.

Many, many, many of us Republicans despise Trump and his BS.

It's OK to call out bad behavior on your own team. Really it is.

The gutting of the FBI and DoJ kills any legitimate investigations too.

This is a load of crap. Patel’s FBI has accomplished more in just over a year than Wray’s or Comey’s accomplished during their entire tenures.

I can't imagine saying this with a straight face.

Patel himself has publicly botched multiple shooting cases.

Sure. Uh huh.
The investigation began under Biden.

And it's likely that Biden had no evidence which stopped him from going after her because, you know, he is not a criminal dictator. That's not stopping Trump. Somehow, a week after she has a win after him the case comes together. give me a ffffff break.

What did she win?

She led the referendum on redistricting.

Tell your electeds that! Spineless followers. And I hope you didn’t vote for Trump if you despise him and his BS. I am no fan of Lucas and she seems to hate Fairfax and work against us. But I have no faith that the fbi or DOJ are acting in good faith or in accordance with the law under Trump.

That hasn't been a win so far.

So you voted for Harris?

Harris is worse than Trump. That's why she lost. Keep up.

Wow. I blame you and your ilk for our current crappy economy, further worsened deficit, and new war that nobody wanted causing an energy crisis. Oh and the excess of dirtier water, soil, food and air thanks to Trump'a EPA.

You are scum.

Could you please explain your logic for labeling our current economy "crappy"? The s and p 500 is, as of this morning up roughly 30 percent from 12 months ago.
