Cornell

10:41 here: to clarify: Cornell health sees patients during the day and might be able to offer the care your DC needs. I meant that there is no 24/7 accessibility to care or overnight boarding in cases of emergency.

I have found Cornell grads to be top-notch and great team players. It’s an incredible network and alumni are proud to be Cornellians. No college is perfect all the time but the positivity I hear from Cornellians definitely stands out.

It’s only on DCUM that some posters bash Cornell- I honestly think it’s because they know how great it is and are actively trying to cull the competition.

The breadth and depth of options at Cornell is truly unparalleled.

But it may not be the right fit for the snobby type.

Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts about Cornell, positive or negative. Among her options, DD is currently leaning towards Cornell. I will support her decision but want her to choose for the right reason, especially given the big cost difference. Your inputs helped. Thanks.

I would pick Cornell over UVA and Georgia Tech especially if you can afford the extra cost. It’s a great school with a strong international reputation. Kids from Cornell are smart and know their stuff.
