I would focus on something healthcare related. 95% of the jobs added last month were in healthcare. Most other industries are shedding workers.
The teacher shortage is no more, and you would be vying with crops of fresh new grads with education degrees who are freshly licensed or ready for licensure. |

Um, no. We have had one recent education grad in the last 3-4 years. We used to have plenty of student teachers at my school every year when I first started teaching in 2012. By right before the pandemic, they slowly dwindled. I think we have two student teachers this year and it’s rare to have any apply for vacancies. |
