Who cares about MI. Start your own thread.
Sheesh. They always think everything is about them. |
MI is a state. |
In some programs. As a state school, they still have plenty of BS majors. |
Someone thinks it’s still 1995. |
That doesn’t change the fact that some admissions officers are odd. Not speaking specifically about NW, but generally based on the 30 plus info sessions we attended between our two kids. |
I'm confused by your question...The name Georgia Tech is very much prestigious especially in Tech/Engineering field. It opened the opportunity up from him to get the interview and then he took it from there. |

Stanford? |
When looking at OOS acceptance rate for GT which is well the vast majority of their applicants it was 8% this cycle and even lower for various Engineering disciplines and CS. NU ED acceptance rate is about 17-20% with TO and Overall it's just shy of 8% acceptance rate. From personal knowledge, I know GT is highly recruited from by top firms. |
have you been recently??? yeah. no. |
Georgia Tech? |
“As a state school”? You act like Michigan is equivalent to Idaho State or something. |
The schools mentioned in this thread are all great schools. |
+1. So true |
| In addition to the new stadium, NU recently renovated the student center and added a pub/gathering space there on the lakefront. I think they'll have trivia nights and other activities. Obviously have to be 21 to be served alcoholic beverages. |
