If you’ve been on this site for 20 years then surely you have noticed the high uptick of troll and rage baiting posts in the past few years? You know it wasn’t always like this. |
Oh please stop this nonsense. If Woodbridge was nicer than a place like McLean or North Arlington prices would reflect that. You are not getting a hot deal in Woodbridge, you just don’t have enough money to afford nicer places. And to the PP who is getting in her feelings over people crapping on Woodbridge, get over yourself. We’re on an anonymous Internet forum. People are free to be more honest here. Your friends in nicer neighborhoods are thinking the same thing but are too respectful to say it to your face. The unvarnished, real takes on here is what makes this forum interesting. People aren’t as fake as they are in real life because they don’t have to be. |

+1. Woodbridge is a💩-tier suburb of the DMV. If it makes you feel any better though at least it’s not somewhere even worse like Oxon Hill, or Waldorf. |
I spent some time in Bethesa a few months ago (local but hadn't been there in a long time). We stayed in a hotel rather than commute for a couple of days. Bethesda has seriously gone downhill. It has turned into a sterile ugly cement jungle. I think I'll take Woodbridge over Bethesda any day all day. I mean that. Bethesda was really depressing. |
It definitely has been since when I joined in 2012. Can’t speak to before then. |
| Lots of illegals live in manassas, not sure about Woodbridge but when I drive through there it looks rough |
I am a certified MoCo hater, but this is an absolutely absurd take. Downtown Bethesda has gotten nicer over the years — yes it’s a construction site right now, but frankly there’s no progress without that. |
Sorry but hoadly road is at risk now too. That Hoadly square development the BOCS just approved is a LIHTC project. So good luck, crime is probably going to skyrocket. |
