Not sure it qualifies as a banger but for me "Smooth Sailin'" by Leon Bridges is something I can listen to on repeat - such a cool song.

No, I meant like the funny video |

I agree there needs to be a shared definition of banger. I personally think of upbeat/fast songs that get a lot of radio play, that most people can't help but belt out in the car and/or dance to when they hear them, and they get stuck in their head.
Going by my own definition, the ones I can think of are: Chapell Roan -- Pink Pony Club Lizzo - Truth Hurts Dua Lipa -- Levitating and Don't Start Now Rachel Platten -- Fight Song Golden from the K pop movie And I agree there were a lot more of these from 2000-2015! |
| Good Luck, Babe by Chappell Roan and Style by Taylor Swift (though over 10 years old at this point). |
+1 |

Harry Styles Treat People with Kindness, I don’t think it was very popular but I love love love listening to that in the car full volume when I’m by myself.
|
| Unholy by Sam Smith, already mentioned by someone, a good one! |
|
| I’m defining a banger as something I want to blast in the car, dance along to, and sing at the top of my lungs. Which incidentally I was doing today with Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite.” Just fun, upbeat, good vibes. |
Agree! |
I do that with this song |

"Tuning in" or "Sick Day" by Teen Mortgage.
A duo from DC and some of the best punk/rock I've heard in a loooooooong time. |
| What is a banger |
Stupid question. How do you post a link with the video, not just the url? |
Energetic, and memorable song. A lot of the songs mentioned here are not that. |
