Why not phone free

Even here, a large majority of kids have phones by 9th. But at least my kid is not the only one who doesn't yet have one.


Also, for most group school activities -- dances, games night, etc -- there's a basket to turn in the phones on arrival. They are trying hard to get people to be present with each other.
