I think it might overtake the 2 UCs for top public.

If those two test blind schools haven't dropped by now then nothing is going to drop them. It's basically a lottery admissions process.

They have enough CA school data to make good decisions on instate candidates.

+1 Although rumor has it DOJ is investigating Dean Wormer.

Do you think DOJ will put Dean Wormer on double secret probation?

For the record, this is where these schools place today:

19. W&L
45. Furman
45. Sewanee
59. Rhodes

Good luck!

Rhodes College may not move up due to all the publicity about FBI stats showing Memphis to be the most dangerous (violent crime) city in the nation by a wide margin (#2 is not even close).

Yes, they have to rotate Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and MIT from time to time on an arbitrary basis, just to keep us on our toes.

Princeton was #1 for 22 of the last 25 years.

And test optional still which should have knocked down last year.

I don't think US News is going to ding schools for being test optional. More than 90 percent of all colleges are technically TO at present.

Those 90% should not be in “elite” category. Their selection criteria is not elite if they don’t require high test scores.
