I had a client in late 30s with a hairstyle like this. She was definitely a boss lady who was senior in a corporation but had an edgy trendy vibe.
She could pull it off but I did wonder if she was possibly lesbian but she did marry a man. |

| No, I don't, but it's not my hair. |
Yeah I'd have to relunctantly agree. Side note, mullets became popular with lesbians due to the fact that hair wouldn't fall onto or get in the way of oral activities. Sort of a signal haircut. An undercut on both sides, or even one side, usually right side, is also a signal. |
| Loved it in 1986. |
| I rarely see this style anymore. I remember it being quite trending in the 2005-2010ish so maybe it's coming back? Remember the trend of undercuts with long hair? 2015? And I think the undercut would be dyed like blue or purple? One of my children's friends had that hair cut and my yoga teacher at the time too. |
| I worked with someone who still had her Farrah cut from 1977. It actually came back a little more relaxed about 3 years ago. |
Came here to say that too! An edgy style in the 1980s. It's also possible she has some hair loss and is trying to disguise it this way. Or she is just rocking a retro style. |
| Extra 1980s points if she has multiple piercings on the more exposed ear. |
