You miss every shot you don’t take. My kid already has acceptances to other schools including some full rides. So nothing to lose by applying RD now to 4 Ivies - nothing except a little time and effort.

Also, tip from a private college counselor:

if you notice RD schools who CAME to your school this fall, make sure you apply there. Esp if this was the first year they came in a while.

They are looking for students from your school - too many kids ignore that list - and its actually really telling.
